Fifty Years of Nursing Leadership and Love.

Empowering nurses. Educating communities. Building healthier futures — one heartbeat at a time.

Welcome To The Upsilon Chi Chapter of Chi Eta Phi Sorority of Knoxville, TN.

For more than 50 years, the Upsilon Chi Chapter has served the Greater Knoxville community with a single purpose: to provide service for humanity through excellence in nursing, education, and health awareness.

Our members—professional and student nurses—stand at the heart of community health outreach, scholarship, and service.

The women seated in this photo are our Knoxville Charter Members, whose leadership shaped the mission and identity of the Upsilon Chi Chapter. Their steady commitment to service, education, and nursing excellence laid the groundwork for the programs we uphold today. The values they modeled continue to guide our outreach efforts, strengthen our partnerships, and inspire every nurse who joins our sisterhood.

Our Work in the Community

We believe that education saves lives.
Each month, our members volunteer at health fairs, churches, and community centers—providing blood pressure screenings, health education, and resources on chronic disease prevention including hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, and cancer awareness.
Through scholarships, mentoring, and service, we invest in the next generation of nurses and strengthen the wellness of our neighborhoods.
